Following the “close up” series and continuing questioning the role of the artist and the role of the choices he/she makes, I applied my ideas on a project/experiment regarding the composition and the structure of the artistic image. The “retail” project develops the idea of the image’s deconstruction in such a way of pointing the endless possibilities of the composition and artistic arrangements, by using the same materials to structure different images.

Using Camper’s campaign for the Spring/Summer collection 2018; eight stickers of eight portraits, each representing one of the company’s shoes; this imagery became my only material to compose a series of collages. The project also aimed to comment on the pop culture of the advert by decomposing images of a mass re-production process to unique and abstract images.
